Stardust Gym helps kids with developmental challenges.
Every Tuesday, nine-year-old John Januskis wakes up bursting with excitement. He knows what the afternoon will bring – a 20-foot rock-climbing wall, a trapeze bar, foam pit and his personal favorite, a 30-foot-long inflatable tumble track. On Tuesdays, John and his mom, Cheryl, head to Stardust Gym at 612 Plymouth St. for a special-needs open gym, an hour-long session tailored to children with developmental disabilities. Read more...

For kids and parents alike, the Stardust Gym has immense appeal. For the children, it’s a place for running, jumping, bouncing, and partying. Parents, on the other hand, can either watch their children cavort in a safe and inviting environment, or skip off to do some errands while the Stardust staff keeps a close eye on the youngsters. Let the good times roll, crawl and climb. Lydia Connelly opened Stardust Gym in East Bridgewater in October, making her long-held dream a reality. The gym, located at 612 Plymouth St., offers children’s parties. Partygoers can use a 20-foot rock-climbing wall, a trapeze bar for children to swing on and drop into a foam pit, and an air tumble track similar to a 30-foot moon walk. Read more...

Stardust Gym a dream come true. For Lydia Connelly of Bridgewater, the opening of Stardust Gym this Saturday, Oct. 18, makes a long-held dream a reality.
